Dave has a gig in Coos Bay, so Sebastian, Jackson and I just head straight to Trinidad. Alone, in the car together for nearly 8 hours. By the end of the trip I'm belting out the tunes, and tapping on the roof of the car to keep Sebastian entertained.
Daddy D joins us on our way back to Portland so Mommy G is free to entertain Sebastian in the back seat....
Sebastian joins the sisters for a weekend in LA. Here we are Friday night in Manhattan Beach getting a little dinner (and a drink or two) I promise there was no beer left in the bottle....
Sebastian shows off his drum skills at Mark, Hayley and Soren's. They had the sisters and Sebastian over for a fabulous BBQ Saturday night--amazing guacamole, burgers, sausages, and the great entertainment of watching those cute little guys interact!

Sebastian stays with Mark, Hayley and Soren (BIG THANKS!!) and the sisters head out to Pasadena for some fabulous sangria, the best mojito ever, and almost more flattery than we could stand. ALMOST.
I suppose if I was a good Mommy G I would be stopping him from eating sand instead of taking a thousand pictures of it...

After our nice time in the sun and sand on the beach, we wandered down 3rd Street in Santa Monica in search of lunch. Here we are at a nice Italian restaurant---Sebastian is happy now, but didn't last in his high chair for much longer!
Sebastian fell asleep in the car on the way back to Nat's from Santa Monica. Nat stayed with him in the car while we all ran upstairs, took quick de-sanding showers and packed. Here's our last LA sister picture---Sebastian is still asleep in the car!!
Story time at LAX. The other exciting events of the evening included talking on the payphones, going down the escalators and up the stairs, and making lots of friends (anyone with food is a friend to Sebastian--he's such a beggar!)
Our flight has been delayed, and we've had a long busy weekend. Is it bedtime yet? He fell asleep on the plane as soon as the lights finally went off and we started moving. He woke up after we landed and was very unhappy. What are all these people doing in my bedroom? Boy was he happy to see Daddy D!! (me too!!)
What a fabulous day....Daddy D took Sebastian so I could sleep in a little, lunch in the afternoon with a surprise guest (Grandpa in town on business had a little room in his day to meet us!), fab German chocolate cake and ice cream from Mio at the loft, playing in the yard with Sebastian in the unexpected sunshine, then a lovely dinner just Dave and I. The night ended with us totally rearranging the living room to accommodate the beautiful new hutch Dave got me for my birthday...we had seen it together on a home tour, and HE REMEMBERED!! How lucky am I?! Pictures of our new living room to come...
Mommy G tried to ready the little man. He would prefer running around the house naked. Maybe if it were a little warmer...
Very peaceful drive up to Spokane for a quick visit with everyone...
