Another first day of school

I almost forgot. In all the excitement of the past week and a half, I almost forgot what happens on the first day of school. Bebe was always so good at remembering to take our picture on our first day of school, and I nearly forgot. But I didn't. Aren't you glad?! How cute are they?! We went to his classroom Friday to check out all the changes at the newly remodeled school, meet the new assistant, Anastasia, and get reacquainted with his guide, Cathy. On the first day of school on Tuesday, the energy at the school was outrageous. All the kids were so excited to be back at school. Really. Sebastian ran right into his classroom. No tears. Not even from me...

Visit to Nana & Papa's

Great Auntie Donna, Great Uncles Jasen, Mark & Mike were in town for the St Vincent de Paul Annual Golf Tourney. We headed out to Nana & Papa's Saturday evening so they could all meet miss Georgia Lee. Georgia loved all the new arms to hold her, and Sebastian sat in Mark's lap for stories for hours...or so it seemed. Eloise had a great time playing with the dogs, and Mommy G just had a nice time hanging out with everyone. Not to mention the tasty grilled salmon & veggies we had for dinner (or the Baker & Spice treats we brought along). Thanks for the lovely evening!

Auntie Jen & Sofia come to visit

With Indian Food. More yum. Jen made tasty lentils and beans, plus chicken tikka, naan and samosas from Swagat. Oh yeah, and cupcakes from St Cupcake. Scrumptious! Georgia seemed to be just a wee bit bothered, perhaps by the spicy or perhaps the beans. Didn't really matter, the food was too too good for me to not eat every bit of the leftovers a few nights later. Sofia and Eloise are obsessed with all the baby gear, and I must say, are rather adorable all piled in to the bouncy chair & car seat. All the kids just can't keep their hands off baby Georgia...please...not while she's asleep. Or eating. OH, I guess that's just about all the time. Soon guys, she'll be able to play soon...

No, look HERE!

We're not even trying to get smiles here, just all eyes to the camera. Please?!! Better luck next time...come on Bebe...Noah...Sofia...I took quite a few shots, but not a one had more than a few looking at the camera. Oh well!

Welcome Home Georgia!!

And what a welcome it was! After saying good bye to Portland Providence & our dear day nurse Lois, we headed HOME!! Sebastian & Eloise had made welcome home signs, Bebe had scrubbed the house sparkling clean, Grandpa had even made pancakes that morning. Ever antsy, we headed out for Georgia's first trip to the farmer's market. Later that evening, Bebe & Papa made a humongous dinner that fed us all that night, and the whole week after everyone left....ribs, skewers, sausages, corn, beans, and a zillion different salads from New Seasons. MMMM. Thanks everyone!!

Day Two at Portland Providence

Well, not being crazy about staying in the hospital any more than I had to, Day Two when Sebastian & Eloise were born was Check Out Day. Due to a minor complication we had to hang out an extra day at the hospital so they could keep an eye on miss Georgia. Apparently, Day Two is Tasty Treats Day...if I had known that, I would have stuck around longer with S&E!! Julie showed up bright and early on Saturday with a giant box of Baker & Spice goodies...scones, hand pies, danish, croissants....YUM OH YUM. Things just got sweeter and sweeter as Bebe & Grandpa arrived with Two Tarts goodies from the Farmer's Market, and later in the day, a giant delicious German Chocolate Cake from Papa Haydn. Sugar overload? Not for me. Other big events of the day...Sofia, Sebastian & Eloise gave Mommy G's bed a try, Daddy D stopped in for a quick photo with his girls (he had gigs Friday night, Saturday day and Saturday evening!) and Sebastian & Eloise got to take a bath in Mommy G's tub (where Georgia was nearly born!). Sebastian, Eloise and Georgia all snuggled up in the pull out "bed" and read stories with Mommy G while we waited for Bebe & Grandpa to come that evening. What a wonderful day! It was sad to see Sebastian & Eloise go home without us, but we'll get to go home tomorrow. YAH!

Proud Big Brother & Sister

These hospitals do think of everything...Sebastian & Eloise are very excited about their Big Brother & Big Sister stickers...can't you tell?!! They're excited to meet their little sister too. I think...

Georgia's First Day

Well, this wee Fleschner sure is popular!! On her first day she welcomed visits from Bebe, Grandpa & Great Auntie Barbara, Uncle Ashley & Jauna, Big Brother Sebastian & Big Sister Eloise, of course, Auntie Jen & Cousin Sofia, Auntie LaLa & Cousin Noah, Nana & Papa! Here are some lovely photos of the day, some taken by Big Brother Sebastian. Cheers to Baby Georgia!
