That's a little harsh for a headline, I do apologize. New Year's Day we all headed to LA to meet up with Bebe & Grandpa, all the aunties, cousins & even uncle Ajay! There was Sunshine. There was Sofia's birthday extravaganza at Uncle Mark, Auntie Hayley & Soren, Deacon & Stella's house (where we finally got to meet Nat's Chris!). There were walks on the beach, and shopping on the promenade. We even managed a sisters dinner without almost all the kiddos. And yes, there was vomit. Lots of vomit. Eloise spent a good 36 hours with a nasty flu bug, and then on Sofia's birthday, at the land of Mickey Mickey Mouse, both Sebastian & Sofia succumbed. I must say the folks at Disneyland are completely unphased with vomiting children. Thank heavens. Your child has just thrown up all over the pint sized toilet at the nursing station? Let me clean that up for you. Your child is vomiting in the bushes at our outdoor restaurant? May I get you some extra napkins? I think as prerequisite for hire there, potential candidates get covered in vomit to see how they react. Yuck. Despite all that though, we all had a great time, and while we're not rushing back to D-land anytime soon, we'll be back. Someday.
