Christmas in Trinidad

Nothing is funnier on Christmas morning than your childhood russian exchange student reading Dora the Explorer's spanish tinged stories to your 2.5 year old. Over and over and over again. Trinidad was relaxing and wonderful as always, after making it through our awful drive down (Georgia screaming most of the way, ice covered i-5 turning the 45 minutes cruise to Salem a 3 hour nightmare, and other horrors I have surely blocked from my memory). While rain kept us indoors for most of the trip, we took advantage of a rare sunbreak for a lovely walk to the point. We even had time to get together with some of Dave's friends and their lovely families. If only we could make it down there more often!! See you all at the museum's grand opening this fall!!
